David has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry serving in a number of high profile roles and companies. David is the former CEO of Pacific Global Advisors founded in 2005, where he grew the company and led it through two sales: first from JPMorgan to Pacific Life in 2011 and then from Pacific Life to Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2015. Institutional Investor named David to “The 2013 Pension 40,” the magazine’s ranking of the most influential decision-makers on the future of U.S. pensions.
In 2007, David led JPMorgan’s effort to obtain from the IRS a Private Letter Ruling seeking approval for banks to provide pension termination alternatives to insurance companies. Prior to founding JPMorgan’s Pension Advisory Group, he ran the North American Corporate Structured Products and Derivatives Marketing group, and has over 17 years of experience with JPMorgan.
David has a Bachelor of Business from Northern Rivers College, NSW, Australia (now Southern Cross University) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
