Norman serves in an advisory capacity for LSI and as a faculty advisor for the University of Connecticut business school’s financial accelerators. He is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career in banking. Prior to joining academia he held a variety of management positions including bank treasurer, CEO of a consulting subsidiary and a Vice President of Finance for a utility company. He has taught at Notre Dame University and Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. Since 1995, he has taught graduate courses in shareholder value analysis, treasury management, international corporate finance and derivatives at UConn.
Norman attended the University of Alaska where he received his BA and MBA, and earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Florida State University.
